Description

A building on the site offered for the Architecture Foundation will not in our view offer the right image for architecture. Loosely based on the precedents of the ‘Red Box’ in Berlin or the ‘Teatro del Mondo’ for Venice by Aldo Rossi, our proposal is to create a MOVABLE structure, a recognisable pavilion as a venue for architectural events, that can be relocated to follow major developments in London or elsewhere: the Olympic site, Kings-Cross or others.
This venue could be re-designed by an different architect every few years.
