This project creates a garden for the children at the rear of the Community Centre. At the same time, the garden was to become the main entrance to the nursery with the addition of a canopy. New planting and solid timber fencing screen off the play area from the courtyard of the adjacent housing, while the gently sloping brick floor create a continuity with the surrounding materials. The canopy protecting the entrance door has a highly reflective folded surface, bringing light and creating playful broken reflections.
